Want to chat, play and sip the afternoon away with a paint brush in hand?
A beautiful form of mindfulness, carving out some time in our busy lives to experiment with art making techniques is the perfect way to unwind or tap into your creative energy.
This workshop is designed to provide a relaxed experience in an intimate setting, perfect for both beginners and creatives alike. With a focus on the process, rather than the outcome, we’ll be experimenting with simple techniques to create abstract artwork using a combination of materials.
To begin the afternoon, I will walk you through a number of fun and very basic exercises, with a focus on loosening up, spontaneous mark making, splatters, drips and layering. We’ll explore beautiful abstract textures, providing a foundation for creating your own abstract works of art or creative projects.
The remainder of the afternoon is yours to enjoy dabbling in any or all of the techniques that have inspired you, or to simply paint and create at your leisure in a likeminded group.
Ticket price includes grazing, bubbles and red wine + herbal tea
Basic materials will be provided, but guests are welcome to bring a selection of the following to experiment with:
Drawing ink, either bottled or in a dropper
Water colour paints
Charcoal or pencils
A couple of paintbrushes
A paint shirt or apron
+ Any other materials you’d like to play with on the day
Tickets strictly limited to 12 guests. Please contact me if you require your ticket to be on sold to another guest no later than 7 days prior to the event.
Unfortunately we're not able to refund tickets for cancellations within 7 days of the event.
